Stainless Steel Penstock for Regulation and Sealing

The penstock is a robust and reliable device, specially designed for control in demanding applications such as municipal wastewater treatment plants, stormwater retention basins, flood protection, and industrial and power plant installations. This penstock stands out for its stainless steel construction and is available in sizes ranging from 400×400 mm to 1800×1800 mm with a square section.

The penstock is equipped with a closed frame for mounting on a concrete wall support, a non-rising spindle with an integrated bearing, and a spindle nut mounted on pivoting bearings. The pre-formed wall seal is fixed to the frame, ensuring optimal sealing. The patented VAG system uses a sliding mechanism and a wedge to keep the penstock blade in place, providing improved sealing and stable operation even in intermediate positions.

This penstock ensures a sealing rate of 1% in accordance with DIN 19569, and the profiled seal integrated into a dedicated chamber provides sealing on all four sides. The stainless steel components are pickled and passivated for increased durability. Suitable for the most demanding conditions, this penstock is ideal for environments with high sealing requirements.
